Pre-bookable parking is available in either enclosure, with all on-the-day parking located on the Course side. Read on to decide which area will be best for you!

Paddock Enclosure Parking
Parking in the Paddock Enclosure is £10 per car and must be pre-booked, unless included in one of our packages. This also applies to Blue Badge parking.
Course Enclosure Parking
Parking in the Course Enclosure is £10 per car and must be pre-booked. This also applies to Blue Badge parking
Rail Side Parking
Guaranteed rail side pitches are available to purchase in either Enclosure. Choose between Paddock Priory Side and Course Woodside, with each pitch including a free gazebo space! Please take a look at the Cartmel Racecourse Map to view the parking area:
On the Day Parking
Course Public Parking
Free parking is available at Seven Acres car park every race day. Follow Course / Public Parking event traffic signage on arrival to the racecourse to use this area.
Owners, Trainers & Annual Members
Owners, Trainers and Annual Members are welcome to park for free in their designated parking areas. Follow Paddock signage.
Coach Parking
Coaches and minibuses staying for the day can park for free in the dedicated Coach area in the Village Car Park. Follow Course, then Coach signage.
Further Information
Motorhomes are not permitted to park except in the Course Public Parking car park.
Overnight Parking
You are welcome to leave your car overnight in any of our car parks, until noon the following day.
There is strictly no sleeping in vehicles permitted, campervans and motorhomes cannot park overnight in any of our car parks and must be removed before the course closes.
