For an unforgettable fun-filled day out, Cartmel Races is hard to beat. Perfect for family, friends and celebrations, the combination of thrilling jump racing and a relaxed party atmosphere brings thousands of people back year after year. Over nine days a season, we welcome horses from around the UK and Ireland to compete in a gripping afternoon of racing, on a compact course where you can get close to the action as the thoroughbreds hurtle over the hurdles.
Grandstand Fine Dining
Located on the first floor of the Grandstand (within the Paddock enclosure) with it’s own private viewing balcony, this restaurant boasts panoramic views of the racecourse, finishing line and parade ring.

The Cartmel jump race season runs over nine days from late May Bank Holiday to August Bank Holiday. Fixture dates can be found below. Race times will be added when available but may be subject to change.
