What To Expect From Our August Bank Holiday Fixture

Firstly, if you have already booked for next weekend – we thank you!! If you are thinking about coming but don’t know what to expect, here are some highlights…..
Summer jumps racing – a card of seven races each day, our feature race on Saturday is the Fitzdares Club Cartmel Cup
Lots of family and friends-friendly space to set up – bring your own outdoor/camping furniture
Loads of good quality food and drink concessions – everything from burgers to crepes to shrimps!! Plus locally-brewed beers and some fabulous cocktails
You may bring your own picnic (including alcohol)
A full funfair
Our resident DJ on the Course side playing all the hits throughout the afternoon
Flat Cap Brass band on the Paddock side
Gates open each day at 9am and closed an hour after the time of the last race
Cartmel Racecourse is a magical place and full of fun – like nowhere else!
