Win £5,000 of Diamond Jewellery

The Best Dressed Ladies at Cartmel's Ladies Night will be hoping to win the top prize of £5,000 of diamond jewellery, courtesy of Wave Jewellery in Kendal, Bowness and Lancaster.

Wave Jewellery, who have shops in Kendal, Bowness and Lancaster,in addition to Manchester and London, will be providing the top prize in Catmel racecourse's best dressed ladies competition on Saurday 2nd June - when the racecourse will also be screening the Investec Derby live from Epsom before racing commences during the evening.

The competition is just part of the fun that will attract visitors to one of Cumbria's largest Diamond Jubilee celebrations, which continues on Bank Holiday Monday 4th June with a day of family fun and Wednesday 6th June, which also falls within the school half term.

Record Prize Fund

The Coral Bookmakers Bank Holiday Fun Day has a record prize fund of £91,000. The feature race, the Coral Handicap Hurdle is worth £25,000. The first race starts at 2.20pm.
