International BBQ Contest Comes To Cartmel

Cartmel’s BBQ Racedays will take on an even more important meaning to a number of racegoers this year as contestants battle it out in a BBQ competition organised by the International BBQ Network (IBQN).
The winners of the Pit Masters Series Final will qualify for the Jack Daniels Challenge in the USA – and will receive funding towards the once in a lifetime trip. To join the IBQN and enter the contest, follow the link below.

Racegoers who are serious about their BBQs, but not quite serious enough to stay up all night, can enter the “lighter” version called “Ready Steady Q” in which contestants are given a box of mystery ingredients from which to produce a quick BBQ meal.
